Yelena, Yehuda and “Peace Fighters”
Project “Peace Counts” is supported by the German Berghof Foundation and aims at raising the international community’s awareness of stories like these. Through workshops, discussions, and exhibitions organized within the framework of this project, NGO representatives from different countries have for many years spread the stories of people who work for peace and human rights.
Learning from Experience

We Have a Right to Know the Truth About the Death of our Children
At the end of 2014, Peace Dialogue NGO filed a lawsuit in order to obtain information on the fatalities of persons serving in the military from the Ministry of Defense in Armenia (MoD). The Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia (RA) has decided to allow the lawsuit to proceed and will hold hearings on two cases related to this most important issue.
Young Women See a New Role in Society as Members of the Military
Fifty-eight male and female active community members ranging from 16 – 30 took part in four workshops in the communities of Stepanavan and Alaverdi in the Lori region of Armenia from April 7 to April 10, 2015. The workshops were implemented by representatives of Peace Dialogue NGO, with support from the British organization, International Alert.
A video manual on your “CONSCRIPTION NOTICE”
On February 14, 2015 Peace Dialogue NGO organized the first public screening of a short animated film called “Conscription Notice”. The movie was prepared with the support of the PAX organization as part of the project Safe Soldier for Safe Armenia project.
Young Women’s Leadership Workshop
Peace Dialogue NGO organized a three-day workshop entitled Young Women՛s Leadership Workshop from August 15 -17. It was aimed at capacity building in human rights, democracy and peaceful settlement of the conflicts for young women and girls who are involved in civic activism in different cities and villages of Armenia.
