On March 14, 2024, a roundtable discussion was convened in Yerevan, featuring Dr. Markus Ritter, Head of Mission of the European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA), his team, and representatives from the Armenian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF ANP). A Group Discussion Workshop with Women’s Peace Agency project participants

Through the grant from CMI, Peace Dialogue provided financial support to a total of five projects. In two of the projects the participants were mainly young people. These projects were intended to analyze public monuments as components of collective memory and the messages they send to future generations. Another three projects were directed at particular segments of the history, for example documentation of the memories of women who survived the war and children born after the war.

Planning Workshops for Women’s Peace Agency Project Held in Yerevan and Vanadzor

The Women’s Peace Agency (WPA) team from Peace Dialogue NGO held a series of project-planning workshops in Yerevan and Vanadzor, Armenia. Forty-five participants representing women and women’s groups active in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Akori, Archis, Ayrum, Stepanavan and Spitak attended the meetings. Additional workshops will be held in the coming months in other cities like Ijevan or Stepanakert. These workshops are organised by Peace Dialogue NGO (PD) with the support from the Finish organisation Crisis Management Initiative(CMI).
