On 14-15 September, in the scope of the CONTACT 2.0 project, a working meeting with young people from the communities of Lori region and Nagorno-Karabakh took place in the office of Peace Dialogue NGO.
With the CONTACT 2.0 project, Peace Dialogue and its Berlin-based partner OWEN e.V strive to develop capacities of young people from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict-involved societies for identifying issues emerged especially among their peers due to the recent 44-day war, as well as developing approaches aimed at addressing those issues.
During the 2-day workshop, the trainers arrived from Germany, Marina Grasse and Andrea Zemskov-Zuege, introduced to the participants a number of tools and methodologies in the direction of identifying community issues and needs as well empowering young people in their communities. On the last day of the meeting, with the support of the trainers and project team, the participants developed small initiatives that they will implement in the course of the upcoming 2-3 months.
