Peace Dialogue has been officially accepted as a member of the Coordinating Council for the Action Plan for 2023-2025 deriving from Armenia’s National Strategy for Human Rights Protection. This development came after the announcement on January 8 made by the Armenian Ministry of Justice, inviting civil society organizations to partake in the council. Following a thorough evaluation of submissions, Peace Dialogue, alongside six other organizations, has been chosen to contribute to this pivotal initiative aimed at safeguarding human rights in Armenia.

The other six organizations included in the council are:

  • The Eurasia Partnership Foundation
  • Women’s Resource Center
  • Democracy Development Foundation
  • Vanadzor office of Helsinki Citizen’s Assembly
  • Armenian Association of Lawyers
  • “Protection of rights without borders” NGO.

It’s significant to mention that Peace Dialogue previously participated in the Coordinating Council for the 2020-2022 Action Plan, stemming from Armenia’s National Strategy for Human Rights Protection.
