CIVIC DEVELOPMENT AND PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION (CDPF)

Civic Development and Partnership Foundation (CDPF) was established in 2006 as Armenian non-profit, non-governmental organization aimed to support development of the civil society in Armenia. Following its mission CDPF implements various projects and services intended to develop capacities of and foster the creation of favorable environment for the civil society organizations (CSOs) in the country.

This includes grants administration and management, organizations and projects assessments, researches, provision of trainings and consultations, events organizations and facilitations and many others.

Up to date CDPF distributed and administered 77 advocacy and election grants and 54 scholarships with overall budget of 475’743’000 AMD (1’534’655USD). CDPF gained very valuable experience in provision of various services to local and international organizations. We provided 111 trainings, 51 consultations, conducted 5 big researches and number of other services.

CDPF developed wide network with number of development agencies, local and international organizations, and businesses that allows effectively implement activities all over Armenia.

Three and a half years is a very short time but a lot can be achieved if the willingness and motivation is there. Our previous experiences have proved that there is a willingness to embrace change in CDPF. We are more than sure that CDPF with its mission, goals, willingness and devotion will be a leading agency in development of the civil society in Armenia.

RUSSIAN PRESIDENT MEDVEDEV’S THREE-DAY VISIT TO ARMENIA

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, accompanied by his wife and representatives of the Russian government, arrived in Yerevan on August 19 on a state visit to cement the Russo-Armenian military alliance with a new defence agreement. “NEITHER WAR NOR PEACE” SCREENING FOR ZANGAK BENEFICIARIES

The screening discussion of the documentary “Neither War nor Peace” was organized by Peace Dialogue NGO for Zangakatun charitable foundation’s Zangak social service center’s beneficiaries on August 27. The previous screening discussion of Peace Dialogue member Vahagn Antonyan and his Azerbaijani colleague Asef Guliev from AzTV was held in “Crossing Roads” NGO on August 2. Several participants of “One day with my friends” project of Peace Dialogue also attended the discussion in Zangak, who had been actively involved in the discussion and shared together with the Zangak beneficiaries their emotions and thoughts after seeing the documentary.    more»
