IKV Pax Christi is supporting local communities and civil society organisations that believe that peace is possible, that are willing to work for civilians’ right to security and protection. IKV Pax Christi maintains reciprocal and long-term contacts with our partner organisations, strengthen their capacity to make an active contribution to peace that is rooted in civil society and anchored in the international rule of law, and mobilise public and political support for their peace and security initiatives.
IKV Pax Christi identifies three roles for itself:
• A political actor, initiating or participating in politically relevant activities in north and south, on the basis of context analysis and in conjunction with partners (that seeks to bring about political change).
• An intermediary, creating bonds between people, organisations, knowledge and resources.
• A partner in peace building, working context-specifically with and support our partners’ programmes and projects.
IKV Pax Chisti is working with four groups of stakeholders:
• The partner organisation, in areas during and after conflict.
• Civil Society, from which comes principles as well as supporters and target groups.
• Donors who finance the work.
• Staff Members who carry out IKV Pax Christ’s peace work.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, accompanied by his wife and representatives of the Russian government, arrived in Yerevan on August 19 on a state visit to cement the Russo-Armenian military alliance with a new defence agreement. During his visit he also took part in unofficial summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). 
The Peace Action, Training and Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR) is recognized as a leading organisation in the fields of peacebuilding, conflict transformation, violence prevention and post-war recovery. 
The Imagine Center for Conflict Transformation (Imagine Center) is an independent, non-political organization and is dedicated to positively transforming relations and laying foundations for lasting and sustainable peace in conflict-torn societies. 
Civic Development and Partnership Foundation (CDPF) was established in 2006 as Armenian non-profit, non-governmental organization aimed to support development of the civil society in Armenia. Following its mission CDPF implements various projects and services intended to develop capacities of and foster the creation of favorable environment for the civil society organizations (CSOs) in the country. 
The screening discussion of the documentary “Neither War nor Peace” was organized by Peace Dialogue NGO for Zangakatun charitable foundation’s Zangak social service center’s beneficiaries on August 27. The previous screening discussion of Peace Dialogue member Vahagn Antonyan and his Azerbaijani colleague Asef Guliev from AzTV was held in “Crossing Roads” NGO on August 2. Several participants of “One day with my friends” project of Peace Dialogue also attended the discussion in Zangak, who had been actively involved in the discussion and shared together with the Zangak beneficiaries their emotions and thoughts after seeing the documentary.
