From 24 to 26 of March of 2010 Peace Dialogue NGO has been invited to participate in the work of the International Conference Celebrating 10 Years of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 - “Retrospective, Challenges and Perspectives”, organised by OWEN e.V. in Berlin/Germany. The purpose of the conference is to analyse different experiences in the implementation of UN Resolution 1325, as well as to understand the needs of local actors.

Vahagn Antonyan, ArmenPress news-agency press correspondent for Lori Marz and member of Peace Dialogue NGO, is involved in a joint Armenian-Azerbaijani project to create a documentary on problems of victims of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The aim of the documentary, with the working title “Neither War nor Peace,” is to show what war is, to show disasters of war based on individual stories of those who have suffered from it, with the expectation of reducing the enemy image among the societies of conflicting parties.

GENDER EQUALITY IN PEACEBUILDING PROJECTS

SUMMARY: The study session organized and implemented by UNOY Peacebuilders, Peace Dialogue NGO, Peace Action Training and Research Institute of Romania, in cooperation with the Council of Europe was held in the European Youth Center in Budapest from November 29th-December 6th with the participation of 29 participants from different parts of Europe as well as Egypt, Kenya, and Pakistan.
