MitOst is an open network that unites people interested in many different disciplines from Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe. We conduct projects that promote cultural exchange and enhance civic engagement, thereby making a contribution to civil activism that overcomes cultural, linguistic, and political boundaries.
MitOst is a space for meetings and dialogue–communication and the exchange of information.
MitOst was founded in 1996. Presently, our network includes about 1,700 members from 40 countries who are interested in cross-cultural interaction.
