Peace Dialogue NGO has received a grant to study the corruption risk in Vanadzor’s transportation sector. The project is one of five which were recently chosen to participate in a grant framework the goal of which is to “implement public monitoring, public control and journalistic investigation over the aspects of the existing anti-corruption project of RA, 2012-2016 as defined in the Strategic Plan of Judicial and Legal Anti-corruption reforms, as well as the existing anti-corruption strategy and the implementation of its activities.”

Peace Dialogue NGO’s specific project is aimed at meeting goals of the grant framework by exploring the transport sector in Vanadzor and developing a package of proposals aimed at uncovering any corruption risks and improving the function of the transport sector.

The project “Civilian control as a tool to reduce corruption risks” is supported by a small grant project provided within the framework of the project “Multi-faceted anti-corruption promotion” launched by the Armenian Young Lawyers Association NGO and its partner organization Freedom of Information Centre of Armenia.
